Princess Kate has a busy life raising three children, as well as carrying out all her royal engagements and taking care of her patronages, so undoubtedly she needs to take some time to relax.
In 2016, Prince William spoke to illustrator Johanna Basford as he presented her with an OBE at Buckingham Palace, and gave away his wife’s own artistic talents.
He revealed she enjoys colouring in books while unwinding, something which Ms Basford is somewhat of an expert in having released her own colouring books for adults, including The Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest.
Having studied Art History at St Andrews University, where she first met William, Kate is known to have a passion for the subject.
Writing on Instagram after the ceremony Ms Basford shared her conversation with William: “He told me his wife likes my books. She colours. Kate is one of us!”
